Home ground is 100 Mile House. From there it's the lakes, the ranches and the back roads. The places where the driveway is long, the timber is close to the house, and most outfits won't drive out.

Outside the list
We travel further for contract falling, fuel mitigation and wildfire work, and for residential jobs where the work justifies the drive. If you're outside the core area, call and ask rather than assuming. Worst case we'll tell you who's closer.
What's different about working out here
- Lake lots. Steep banks, narrow access, no room to swing, and a neighbour's cabin twelve feet the wrong way. Most of these come down in sections.
- Long driveways. Half a kilometre of gravel with timber closing in on both sides is normal here, and it's the one thing that determines whether emergency services can reach you.
- Beetle-killed pine. Two decades of standing dead lodgepole across the whole Cariboo Plateau. It's the region's specific hazard and its specific fuel load.
- Free tipping in three towns. The Cariboo Regional District waives tipping fees on vegetative debris in Lac La Hache, 108 Mile Ranch and Lone Butte. If you're in one of those, disposal on your job costs less.
- Wildland-urban interface. The District's Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan rates parts of the interface around 100 Mile House as High and Extreme, and 37.4% of it is private property.
